I'm trying to build a new computer

i'm just confused on what mobo to buy due to the issue with usb 4 getting 4 lanes as i wanted to use 3 m.2 ssds

So i'm following this b850 pcie connection guide but when i looked up the chipset for the x16 pcie for b850 it only says pcie 4.0 where motherboard specs says it's pcie 5.0

So should i go with x870 and have the x8 issue when i use all my m.2 drives as I'm planning to buy an rtx 5000 series gpu which is pcie 5.0

or b850 which is pcie 4.0?
