On a side note. There's an old but still fun to watch, SciFi TV series called Continuum that's filmed and set in Vancouver

Know what their take on ads is?
It's mostly TV channels with extra on demand stuff.
At 17$/month I would expect to have no ads in the on demand content, otherwise I'd be very disappointed.
I mean live tv is live tv.
They don't play ads on "on demand" content.
Edit: I checked and actually the On Demand is basically the ability to "catch up" on live tv and will play it as is ads included without the ability to skip ahead so that's pretty shitty.
I just find it as a good alternative to watch live tv legally on the cheap.
It's owned by Quebecor.
It's $16.99/month
