And Gen Alpha has it worse than that. US Gen Betas will have never experienced a non-fascist America.

At this rate if we are lucky they will never experience an America.

I have never in my life seen in person anyone doing one of these dances.

They're mentioned so often that I just assume I should see phones on tripods on every inch of flat ground with people or trios doing choreography.

Are these really that common?

Do you know any kids? I haven't seen anyone filming a dance to upload, but I've seen kids mimicking fortnite dances just for the hell of it. They were gen alpha though.

No. I'm exaggerating. Specifically the recording part.

I mean they were like years ago when it was new and it's just a thing that we're going to drag that generation for just like we're still getting flogged for avocado toast.

I plank while I eat my toast each morning

Just don't do whatever the new hotness is. Gotcha.

I don't think I've seen anything I do dragged yet. Or at least not commonly.

Don't care for avocados or dancing. So far I'm in the clear for most generational banter.

Typical millennial, painfully aware of the meta-narrative and avoiding cliches without even trying. So cringe! /S

yes, they are. so many kids of family and friends just bust out dancing randomly, its absolutely hilarious tbh

Maybe you just don't live anywhere cool enough, I've definitely seen people filming TikTok dances in my city. One time they were even in the parking lot of my apartment complex.

I mean do you see ppl recording YouTube videos?

Plus most is in their homes or studio

Go to a highschool or in my case a softball field and you will find plenty. I hated walking around kids who were doing Tiktoks in my HS hallway cause they're so fucking entitled. Bathrooms weren't safe either, people did them there too. My fucking teammates were addicted to it, used to do them at tournaments and hotels frequently.

Sure, I regularly see some recording in parks or in stations.
