I have a 2700x + EVGA 1080… she’s held in well man… 8 years strong

When I bought and built - there was no such phenomena as “shortages”, in all honesty the chip thing was probs real but I don’t think there’s any reason for the “shortages” other than more money…

Anyways , can you guys who have successfully and consistently secured cards at launch, give some tips or a playbook on how to actually get one???

I’ve heard these things sell in minutes… I’ve also heard Founders card are Nvidia/BestBuy exclusive? I really don’t want a founders card (prefer Gigabyte aesthetics) but will take whatever I can…

Any tips appreciated

Also , side note— if playing at low 1080p UE5 games competitively and wanting to solo pc stream … should I veer on the side of TI or non?

Cheers!
