I wish the co-op grocery stores were still around here. They got pushed out of the cities years ago.
Plenty in smaller communities around the province, but Loblaws' and Sobyes' ghetto brands are encroaching more and more.

They made a resurgence in Winnipeg after the Sobeys/Safeway merger, when a bunch of Safeway locations were forced to be sold off.
What province? There are at least three very large co-op grocery stores in Saskatoon. One used to be a Safeway, but they were forced to sell when the Sobeys/Safeway merger happened. Can't speak for Regina, but I'm sure it's similar there too.
That’s where I fuel up!
Yo dawg, I heard you liked co-ops, so I drove yo modo carshare co-op to the Otter gas station co-op, so you can co-op while u co-op.
Just took a road trip. Bought gas exclusively at co-ops for the entire length.
Why no Co-Op in Ontario
Dunno why you guys never adopted that model.
They've been in the prairies since my grandfather was a young farm boy.
