I've recently been watching Ghosts on Netflix. It stops after the second season, but I just read that the fourth season is allready in production. Why doesn't Netflix show me the other seasons?

P.s. I will be fixing this, but I'm not allowed to discuss how I'll do that.

Because that's all they have the license for

Netflix will only show what they have a license for. They're probably only allowed to show the first two seasons, and the third may be exclusive to the show's home network.

Availability may also depend on region, wider licensing issues, or whatever whims Netflix is feeling at the moment

Probably because Paramount is only licensing the first two seasons so you'll subscribe to them so you can see the rest.

Pirate bay has all the seasons

If you haven't already seen it, I highly recommend the original British version. They already finished, I think after five seasons.

Will do, thanks, but not on Netflix apparently haha

Recommending the original as well, it's better in every way, and genuinely sweet.

It's available on CBC Gem, if you are in Canada. Probably also available in the UK. A VPN might do the trick for you.

I'm in the Netherlands, so I'll have to make my own streaming service that offers the other seasons.

I’ve mentioned torrenting in here and I don’t think I’ve had those comments removed, if that’s what you’re getting at.

Mod here, I think mentioning it is still okay as lemm.ee is federated with [email protected]

Still not really sure why LW defederated that community; I don’t think I ever saw any directly hosted infringing content. Sick of using an alt just to browse the piracy comm

Laughing at me for not simply moving instances? Probably warranted

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 week ago

Also a double joke cause I am on .lol which is not blocking the piracy community.

Why not make you alt your main? It's pretty painless nowadays with settings import / export

I don’t have any good reasons besides laziness to be frank

Yeah I know, but talking about like it's a big secret is funny and it's good privacy hygiene. Like how I have this complete server setup in minecraft with automated downloading tools like radar and sonar.

Either netflix cant afford to liscence it or netflix and/or show owners thinks everyone like you is piece of shit who doesn't deserve to watch the show you paid for.

Afaik after two seasons, the licensing changes and gets more expensive.

That's what they were only able to license. I do notice other countries have complete seasons of shows that have missing seasons in my location.
