I think this is conscription by another name. They are arrested on trumped up charges then before due process they are "encouraged" to go to the front.

Also you watch crime is going to explode in regions that are not Moscow and non white minorities but with very little in the way of victims of those crimes. Funny how the timing works out.

yeah it's like with F1 racing you hit 99% of your min lap time but then it take a million dollars of R&D for each second reduction in min lap time after that.

the problem is CEO after you bought your $100 game for your $700 console. "We could boost profits so I can get my bonus this quarter by enabling microtransactions anyway and shut down the severs on the game you bought after a year. Because not enough people are buying the game anymore and we don't offer dedicated servers like we did for 20 years with no issues but now it's too hard. We will keep the severs going but you need to buy a subscription."

If you feed the beast more it just craves more to be full. I would have no problem paying the same prices for games in the 90s adjusted inflation. If wages had kept up with productively. Hell they can even keep the cost reduction going from carts to CDs or downloads.

Also the Steam Deck is $349 right now.

i kind of hate this because the keys are not incorporeal. So while the ghost can go through the door with ease the keys can't even if the ghost could interact with the keys in the first place. 😜

I know this is not everyone and there're some unicorns out there but after working with hiring managers for decades i can't help but see cheap programmers when I see Devops. It's ether Ops people that think they are programmers or programmers that are not good enough to get hired as Software Engineers outright at higher pay. It's like when one person is both they can do both but not great at ether one. Devops works best when it's a team of both dev and Ops working together. IMO

yep why do you think they freak out so much when the market drops and post shit online to inflate stock emerald mine dipshit Xboy is famous for that kind of shit.

no his dad was a billionaire

well it's worse than that becase most of those houses and other assets were bought for the most part from loans taken out at very low interest rates against the stock he has in his company's and other shares in his portfolio . The stocks on whole give better return than that interest rate. So it's free money they can spend an they don't even have to sell their stock and pay taxes on the returns just the dividends at a way lower rate that any working person. the way this is setup it becomes impossible for him to spend money fast enough for him to actually lose more money than he gained.

  1. Never realize it takes place over labor day weekend until today. It hits even harder knowing that.
  2. It kind of makes me sad not knowing how the original Bell got acess to the Net without jadzia's help. That makes me think he couldn't and It was a predestination paradox and the implication is humanity couldn't put us on a path to the world of star trek on our own and we needing star fleet to push the scales. Explains a lot for our timeline.
  3. 1995 Me: Getting the voices on the Net would fix things for sure. 2024 Me: There would be a misinformation campaign to drown out those voices and used by grifters to make a quick buck off the cause. Most would just swipe to the next youtube short/reelz/TikTok video.

Yeah i made myself sad

So i did my update today. Due to plasmashell being broken for me right now. I had to roll back, thank you Timeshift. So it got me wondering what day of the week works best for you all to update?
