There are only so many ways you can design certain things. Rockets being rocket shaped hardly counts as plagiarism. Strapping three boosters together also isn't a new concept. The only idea that is truly unique to SpaceX is the catch tower.

True, but "2-stage kerolox rocket with 9 engines on the booster and 1 on the upper stage where the booster has grid fins, fold-out landing legs, and lands on a droneship" is a little bit on the nose.
