Loving System Shock remake on the Deck right now. Just freaking fantastic.

Love my Deck. Haven't been playing as much since I've been playing a lot of TOTK on Switch, but currently I'm finishing up P4G
Been on BOTW now for the last week. Been having a lot of fun, though I'm kind of rushing through so I can start with TOTK.
✋ :D
I love it. I mostly have MacOS for work and there are a decent number that work on that. It's nice to get back into a Linux machine and nicer that it mostly just works(tm) for a lot of games (and can be tweaked for those that don't!)
I've played just about every roguelite on the platform, they work great on it. Especially the cheap early access ones.
Right now, I'm doing a run through of the first Borderlands again. Runs great on maximum as well. I'm curious how the sequels will run but no hurry.
Vampire Survivors, Halls of Torment, Time Wasters, Diablo 4, Cult of the Lamb. I prefer 2D games, the controls are a lot easier - I'm not used to controllers :) I also have to finish Octopath Traveller so I can play the sequel.
I’m over 100 hours into AC Odyssey. Took some fiddling to get it stable and working but runs flawlessly now!
Such a fun game! I should have got that for steam deck instead of my console - would have been fun playing it on long trips
It’s sitting behind my laptop. I bring it all the time and hardly play. Mostly think it’s the fact I depend on more sleep now that I have three little ones haha!
I was playing Hogwarts on it last! That and Dredge are good.
anybody with a deck tried modded minecraft? if i get one and it works i’ll probably end up having another one of those month-long minecraft phases haha
Making my way through Yakuza 0. For whatever reason I stopped playing it on the PC a couple years ago and I'm starting over from the beginning now on the Deck. Also working through Shadow of War now and then ever since I got it for like $5 a couple weeks back.
I keep buying games, but I'm only playing death stranding 😅😅😅
Same. Like collecting games for when I hit retirement. How’s death stranding in the steam deck? Im intrigued about the build mode
I'm addicted to it on the deck. It runs fine, between 30 and 45 fps.
Generally, DS is absolutely worth the cost of entry, especially if you're bored of conventional gameplay loops. However, the building mechanics are not particularly exciting in thier own right. The most innovate part of building is the odd, shared world aspect of it.
DS is more about wrapping a very satisfying hiking simulator in a metal gear esc, beautiful, positive, horror, action rpg with passive cooperative online features.
Ive played it on console and loved the mechanics, the visuals, and especially liked the collaborative nature of the social mechanics. But super glad to know it runs pretty decently on steam deck. I'm soooo looking forward to DS2 - cheers and thanks for the info
Love the Steam Deck. I’m able to play so much more than I did before. Currently playing Persona 5 Royal and I’m really enjoying it. I’ll be at it for a while so I don’t know what’s next. Maybe Octopath Traveler 2 or Persona 4 Golden.
Vampire Survivors, and Pico-8 games via Emudeck. Once I'm bored of those I plan to spend a bit more time with Snowrunner. I've never really got into it, but it looks like my sort of game.
I like to dock the Steam Deck for couch coop. Go to games include Overcooked, Boomerang Fu and Lovers in a Dangerous Space Time.
Some games through Steam I have played on Steam Deck(in no particular order): Cassette Beasts; Wizard of Legend; Skyrim; Tunic; Bugsnax. I have also played a few from Flathub through the Discover application. SuperTuxKart can be fun. Minecraft through Prism Launcher with a controller mod is decent enough, although I would prefer to have mouse and keyboard available.
Been mainly using it to get through the Trails series before Trails from Reverie releases in July - currently on Trails of Cold Steel 4, but it's a hard one to get through.
Other than that, been emulating Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinity and playing with friends.
I have mine but rarely know what to play on it, as my favorite games aren't comfortable to play on the deck - ie AoE, Endless Legend, Phasmophobia... This thread is going to be quite useful for me.
I’ve been playing Freeways and Graveyard Keeper on my steam deck, and I’m glad the controls feels tight.
I don't use my steam deck all that much, just when traveling. The last thing I played on it was Warhammer 40k Mechanicus, and that plays wonderfully on it. Definitely recommended.
Right now I'm in a mix of Diablo IV, No Man's Sky and Brotato. They all play very well on the Deck!
I absolutely love my steam deck. I’m an old WoW player and I currently play on TurtleWoW since classic isn’t really for me & I hate the guilt of paying for a monthly sub when my life is very sporadic with gaming time. It’s PERFECT for before bedtime in bed gaming before wife & I go to sleep.
I just got off a huge Hades kick. Currently I'm working through Doom 2016 again, and I'm planning Doom Eternal next since I just got the DLC. After that is probably Cyberpunk 2077. I bought it on release and dropped it after a couple weeks, so I'm excited to see how it plays now with a couple years of updates, and also because the expansion is coming.
Here! Playing A Short Hike and loving it.
Very happy to be on the deck after so much switch time - feels like there are tons of steam games i’ve been ‘saving’ for years.
Great suggestion! I’m definitely adding A Short Hike to my list
As I don't own a playstation I am playing the horizon zero dawn game, it is quite good. I will probably then play the final fantasy remake.
Gunfire Reborn, Black Book, and Minecraft. Excited to go finish BL3 and Tiny Tina's on it soon
I've been emulating Mario Party Superstars and Mario Kart 8. Yuzu's multiplayer is amazing!
