Similarly Peugeot makes pepper grinders, bicycles, cars and whatnot. Probably sewing machines at some point, idk. There are quite some bike manufacturers that used to make sewing machines and typewriters in the past.

Yamaha made cars ????
This is new to me

They certainly make engines for cars.

I was also curious about this. The only car they produced, as far as I could find, was a concept car featured in the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show. They called it the "Sports Ride Concept."

Got a lawn mower and a bass guitar. Seriously they do everything.

And for the rest (heavy construction work vehicles, vibrators, hoovers, trains, ...) there is Hitachi

[–] [email protected] 4 points 4 hours ago (1 children)

nope! Hitachi sold their Magic Wand brand a while ago, specifically to distance themselves from the association (look how well that worked lol). Good thing too because the new owners have been actually iterating on the product ever since and those vibrators are now even more incredible than their fame let on.

For everything else though, yeah Hitachi is still a conglomerate.

Lol and the fame carried on, like when I search for "Hitachi" on Bezos Marketplace I still get the magic wands.

And thanx for the info, IF I ever get a gf I know what to buy her/them :p

Also see Hitachi if you want to clear some mines, shoot mortars, or support artillery.

See Hyundai if you want a navy though http://naval-special.hhi.co.kr/en

Zelenskyy could use some of that

Along with electronics, Panasonic also made bicycles for the North American market until the late 1980s.

And I think Kawasaki still makes vehicle audio systems.
