"The first order he signed before a crowd at the Capital One Arena revoked approximately 80 executive actions that had been signed by former President Joe Biden. He also signed a freeze on new regulations, as well as a hiring freeze on federal workers. And Trump also withdrew — again — from the Paris climate treaty."

List of revoked Biden executive orders here:

https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/2025/01/initial-rescissions-of-harmful-executive-orders-and-actions/

It's worth noting, that Biden only issued 160 orders, by revoking 80 of them, Trump has reduced that by 1/2.

Looks like the usual, DEI, climate crisis, covid restrictions, ethics.

Holding former government employees responsible for unlawful disclosiure of sensitive information.

Wow. Do I even need to point out the hypocrisy here?

[–] Bakkoda 1 points 20 hours ago

No. They did it for you. Literally right there in the order. They said hey America, "hold muh beer."

[–] [email protected] 7 points 1 day ago

Ah the small government his stans all wanted.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Declaration of a national energy emergency.

What's the scam on this one? That certainly might be true in Texas, but that's because they fucked up their power grid by privatizing it and removing (or never applying) regulations and doesn't have anything to do with the rest of the nation.

If Trump's doing it I know it's some kind of scam, but I can't figure out the angle on this one.

[–] [email protected] 15 points 1 day ago (1 children)

It's an excuse to drill and frack for oil with no restrictions.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Does... he need an excuse? Didn't he just authorize drilling in Alaska anyway? I'm kind of surprised he would even bother with excuses at this point, it's basically fait accompli now.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 1 day ago

Authorizing drilling in Alaska isn't the same as calling for a national emergency, but I expect once the orders are published on the White House website we'll see the details.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 1 day ago

Really? No more renewables, no more restrictions on drilling, etc.

[–] [email protected] -4 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

Withdrawing from the World Health Organization.

How much does gates owns of the who now? 80%?

[–] [email protected] 18 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Never knew it was possible for the president to simply ban new regulations, but I wouldn't expect much else from Trump.

[–] [email protected] 21 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Banning new regulations as they defacto regulate people's genders. Irony is dead.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 day ago

No regulations not approved by them of course! You can't expect them to ban regulations and also stop themselves from doing things, they need unchecked reign!!! /s

[–] Bakkoda 2 points 20 hours ago

Thank you for the very detailed list.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 1 day ago

What a shitshow, another four more years being embarrassed because I was born here.

It's so sad watching idiot talk about making America great again while not addressing that's what he said the first time yet failed completely. But people really wanted this fleshsack to have another try at it.

Would love to yell at idiots but the dead look in their eyes says reason is beyond their grasp.

[–] [email protected] 12 points 1 day ago (1 children)

More coming... No details yet on all the Biden orders being revoked either.

[–] [email protected] 15 points 1 day ago (1 children)

I just want to go to sleep and wake up in two years for next Election Day. Hopefully we can tip the senate and house. That’s assuming they haven’t taken away our right to vote.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 day ago

There won't be another vote. Not a real one, anyway.
