I have rtx 4070 ti super and Im stuck with a 4k 120hz monitor, should I downgrade to 1440p or upgrade the GPU? (zerobytes.monster)

This dilemma has been eating me and I can't find an answer for myself. I have LG C2 42 inch, cpu is 5800X3D. So the 4070 ti super is kind of fine, but barely, for example for Rival Marvel in order to get the constant 120fps.I have to set everything to lowest (except textures) and use dlss performance ??

So the 1440p oled monitor is going to look worse since I'm already used to 4k smooth graphics. And the rtx 5000 is expensive as hell and the generational leap isn't even worth it the price difference.
