the name in Afrikaans means "the spring where two buffaloes were shot stone-dead with one shot" (Afrikaans: Twee buffels met een skoot morsdood geskiet fontein).

Two-buffaloes-with-one-shot-dead-shot-fountain?

"Morsdood" means something like "stone-dead" . It's used for emphasis. "Dood" would be "dead".

~~And "een" would be translated to "a" I think~~

In Afrikaans "a" is mostly written as 'n while "one" is written as "een". Afrikaans comes from Dutch and in Dutch "a" could be both 'n and "een", while "one" is mostly written as "één" to help with pronunciation. In Afrikaans they dropped the ´.

The sounds my body makes after eating taco bell

Both the pronunciation and the literal sounds of "Two Buffalos violently dropping dead with a single shot fountain" are consistent with the other stories I've heard about Taco bell

Why do people keep eating there

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 weeks ago

Because I'm a masochist and fat

Because you tend to be hungry at 3am leaving the bar piss drunk

My native language is Dutch and I love it that I'm able to understand a lot of Afrikaans.
