Generally, an artifact should be 100+ years old, but this is a flexible requirement if you find something rare and suitably linked to an era of history, not a strict rule. Anything over 100 is fair game regardless of rarity.

I believe they were dated by the archeological context in which they were found, ie that they were found as part of a neolithic era site.
Gotta defeat the four elemental guardians to collect their masks and awaken Polokus.
I canβt be the only person who sees those and thinks βChrist those would be uncomfortable.β
I can only assume they were held in front and not actually worn. I hope.
