The title pretty much says it. In my case I want to upload books, music, video as a torrent. How do I make sure that the files uploaded cannot be traced back to me. For example:

First case: I rip a CD - Is cleaning the metadata enough?

Second case: A digital book or other media file purchased online. How do I strip metadata? How do I find out if my information is otherwise imprinted into the file?

For now it seems to me that the only dead-sure method is to have a dedicated anonymous machine and doing purchases via an untraceable throwaway account. But that is also quite a hassle. How do you guys secure your anonymity uploading files?

Is there a good summary online regarding this topic?
