Damn that's a lot of hope. EA bought them in 2007 and all hope should have been abandoned then. I know they finished some franchises out but they were all worse off. It was a long cancerous decay but it was clearly terminal more than a decade ago.

After Anthem, Andromeda, now Veilguard... I'm convinced the only talent left at Bioware is graphical engineering, probably imported from DICE. Their characters are likely designed and written by AI. No human could so be so detached from real emotions.

I’m personally done with BioWare- although, I don’t mean this as facetiously as it sounds, but I’m glad a lot of folks are liking veilguard (even if it’s not meeting absurd corporate expectations/budget).

Tbh pretty done with pcgamer too, so that lines up
