Summary

Outgoing Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer highlighted Biden-appointed judges’ crucial role in safeguarding Biden’s legacy and opposing Trump’s agenda after the Republican “trifecta” victory.

Schumer highlighted Biden’s appointment of 235 federal judges, surpassing Trump’s first-term total, as part of a strategy to counterbalance the conservative judiciary built during Trump’s presidency.

He warned that Trump’s allies would use the courts to challenge Biden’s legislative achievements and advance a “MAGA” agenda targeting women’s rights, the environment, unions, and consumers.

The judiciary, Schumer stated, remains Democrats’ strongest defense.

They'll be about as useful as Schumer.

If you intend to resist Trump's misrule, don't put your hopes in the Democratic Party. They're not there to deliver change, they're there to prevent progressives from holding power.

This is why even your base doesn't respect you, Dem leaders. Not that they actually give a shit.

They'll just get overruled by the corrupt Supreme Court.

Too bad Biden wasn't a bulwark against trump.

he's actively helping them now as exemplified by the escalations in isreal and ukraine along with the anti-transgender bill.

Chuck Schumer should shut the fuck up because he’s part of the leadership that got us here in the first place

Too bad nary a one was on the high court which can nullify any lower court’s decision they don’t like.

Bullshit. That’s why these clowns are always judge shopping to get around the politicized judiciary that would stop their plans.

They have a judicial highway to a captured SCOTUS. Not a single other judge in the country matters in regards to rulings about government power. The Democrats had years to fix it and instead they gave the corporations more welfare.

The best we'll see is some delay until the appeal gets to the Supremes and Alito channels the voices of dead Founders to deliver a conclusion exactly the same as what the Heritage Foundation wants.

I can't even find it in myself to make a sarcastic joke about Alito channeling the founding fathers for the heritage foundation. It's just... Ugh.

Dems have been so effective, I see no possible way this could fail
