That is the right thing for him to say.
People like Luigi make people like Sanders look like moderates, and that's how change is achieved.
Politics without the jerks.

I don't condone murder, but when political movements don't seem to be going where we need to go, people make their own paths.
Yeah there's no way he can come out and publicly condone murder of course. Good old Bernie is right as well. Without political backing murder won't actually improve things, no matter how cathartic the moment was.
Just gonna start quoting all the Republican's "2nd amendment remedies" tweets and add
None of us should be condoning it either, btw. More like, this is a wake up call for what happens when peaceful protest is suppressed. Like, murdering Nazis was deemed acceptable. We need to draw a line somewhere.
For many people sitting comfortably in the status quo, that line is very far away. For others, we are flying dangerously close to that line.
We tried the soap box, ballot box, and jury box already. A lot. The ammo box has generated far more conversation then all of them combined.
What exactly IS a political movement? How does one go about this? Can the rich destroy this movement? If so, then it's not the way.
Exactly! They want to call elected officials pushing for single payer healthcare radical. Folks like Luigi remind them what actually radical looks like.
Yeah, but how's that been working for you!
People keep trying that as well, to no effect
Why not both?
Gee, Bernie, it's so nice that we've had universal healthcare for decades now, and all those lives improved or saved since it went into effect via peaceful political means
I like Bernie, but I still remember his political movement: stepping aside for Hillary. I wonder how different our timeline would be, if that had not happened. Maybe he just doesn't know when to fight.
He lost the primary, what did you expect him to do?
I watched that primary, I wouldn't say he lost, he was just taken away as an option by those backing Hillary. He could have run as an independent, but he was more civil than everyone else running.
That primary is a prime example of the disconnect of the democratic party from their supporters.
I watched that primary while donating and volunteering for his campaign, and he unequivocally lost. Inventing fictional scenarios where he did not lose sounds fun, though!
I missed the first comma at first, reading it as
Sanders Says Political Movement Not Murder
And was shocked since I thought Bernie was saying Luigi did nothing wrong for a moment
If you could read his mind, he's probably cheering for the act. He just cant say it out loud.
Bearnie is the right person to bring medical change. He made great strides in his home state too
It's both
I love Bernie, but he has to say this. More has happened by Hero Luigi's actions than decades of political movements.
