I love headlines where it's impossible to predict the next word at almost any point.

English is my native language and it took me three tries. I understood it the first time.

What! They don't even say what the anime argument was about! "Journalism" in 2024 SMH

[–] Varyk 31 points 1 week ago

pretty pissed that I just read that whole article and they don't mention which anime.

"Troopers allege that Rickey Lowe was driving while intoxicated."

also, let it be clear that one brother three the alligator outside then the other brother threw his brother's crocodile outside

The guy that was driving away drunk with a 2 year old in the car and is responsible for the dead crocodile because his alligator was tossed out first is the one that called the police for help...

Morality is weird.

Sigh.. I'm so sick of hearing stories like this. When will we get some practical crocodile legislation

If we legislate crocodiles only bad guys will have crocodiles... and then were will we be?

Well, obviously, every teacher should have a crocodile and proper training.

This shit is bizarre. Some very funky people up there.

Well, at least they didn't make the alligator and crocodile fight in the snow, that would have been much worse I guess.

“They go, ‘Have you seen an alligator run past here?’ And I go, ‘You guys are kidding, right?’” Strickland said, describing the interaction he had with law enforcement who knocked on his door. “He goes ‘No, I’m a state trooper, I wouldn’t kid about something like that.’”

Fucking gold. Watching it in video described by the frozen stoner made my day. When they had the clip at the end showing him holding out his arms while the newscaster read "about 2.5ft long", I lost it.

Alaska must be where all the people who couldn't make it as Hollywood directors go to be local news directors.

Why are they wearing the same t-shirt? and the same upturned table in the background, did the police use this as a mugshot?

[–] [email protected] 9 points 1 week ago

They appear to be wearing jail uniforms. The table in the background is probably just already there in the room where the photo was taken.

It should be pretty obvious to anyone that opened the article.

But reading articles spoils the mystery.
