Hey all!
I settled on my 4070ti SUPER now and want to continually upgrade the remaining parts in my system, including moving from Intel 8600K to AMD AM5 platform.
Looking at the prices, I decided against the x3d series, as I am a 1440p@60 gamer and the cost over in germany is just not reasonable for the gains I would have. So 9700x, small upgrade over 7700x, but the latest and greatest - decided to go 8 cores, as I do calculations for work related stuff on my PC too.
Now I'm looking at air coolers for my new system, coming from a BeQuiet Dark Rock 4, I've learned Be Quiet is pretty bad for AM5? Otherwise Dark Rock 5 would be my first pick, just overall good looking and performing cooler in my current build.
My options I have in mind right now are:
Arctic Freezer 36 ARGB black
Deepcool Ak400/500 Digital
Thermalright - meh, don't really like the look, I like stealth
In general I'd like to keep the RAM slots free (RGB) and have an overall black cooler to hide it. Some RGB or a screen allowed, but preferred only black.
Hope you can give me some suggestions, as it's really hard to find a solution with all the available options.
