You can use anything you want. I don't think the courts can literally refuse it as long as it's reasonable.

Although the only time I ever had to do it they didn't have a Bible they just had a person swear me in. But that was just as a witness so maybe that was the reason.

The Constitution says "swear or affirm", not just "swear". That clause accommodates Quakers and Jehovah's Witnesses.
