As a label "cringe" is just like "simping": normal human behavior that upsets conservative weirdos

Nah simping used to be reserved for people being overly invested into women streamers to the degree where they donate them money to get their attention and similar behaviours.

Conservative weirdos then misused them term to mean anyone that is nice to women.

Right, and like I said in another comment, if 99% of the uses of the word I see are exactly those, it doesn't matter what the fuck it's "supposed to" mean when people use it to just mean anyone who's having a non-hateful interaction with a feeeeeemale

It really hasn't overtaken the original meaning yet. You might wanna try touching grass.

tOuCh GrAsS is the best you can come up with when you disagree with someone? You that far in the internet brain rot that you can't use your words anymore?

“Simping” for someone you will never meet, at the expense of real world interaction, is not normal human behavior, it’s a form of toxic celebrity worship.

Other interpretations sure whatever but it started as a term to describe the former case.

Yeah, sure, and how often do people use it like that, instead of just calling anyone who says anything positive to or about a woman a "simp"?

The only cringe I think is real when someone does something entitled, like “let me speak to your manager” type stuff. I hate the term Karen, tho

Turns out cringe was life all along
