- In general terms, write in body of your post as much information as possible (dates, creators, editors, links).
- If you found the image on the web, it is encouraged to put the direct link to the image in the ‘Link’ field when creating a post, instead of uploading the image to Lemmy. Direct links usually end in .jpg, .png, etc.

pictures like this always remind me, that it's virtually impossible to depict our solar system to scale, because of how vast the distances and how extreme the size differences are. like if you manage to fit the sun in, the planets can barely be a few pixels and you'd need to scroll a lot if the distances were accurately scaled. because of that i ran around half my life ignorant to the scale, because all depictiobs and models i saw were not to scale. 8 light minutes is a lot.
