So this was a stupid accident, I'll try keep it brief. I had a bottle of soda on my desk left open slightly. Cat jumped on desk and knocked it over, I grabbed it before it fell over but when I grabbed it since it was loose it shot everywhere like a geyser. All over the top of the monitor, which has vents on it, or it wouldn't have gone inside. I immediately unplugged it and have it drying upside down. Normally my cat isnt in my room and I dont usually drink soda or have anything on my desk. This was temporary while building something in my room then this happened. Luckily not my PC and all the new parts I have... Stupid though the monitor was expensive.

It's one of the Alienware monitors, AW27____ something, one of the 27 inch 240hz ones. My first thought was to open the back panel and clean inside but holy shit getting that off is harder than infiltrating Fort Knox. I need to get inside somehow though, any advice? I spent an hour trying and now have messed up fingers.
