This bothers me deeply.

In fact this whole thing seems moronic! Wtf is state department doing?

We should encourage Pakistan to get closer to Russia and China, first because that's a bit like convincing your enemy to hire typhoid Mary as head of their health services, and second because Pakistan getting along with russia is the best way to get India closer to us.

The document was provided to The Intercept by an anonymous source in the Pakistani military who said that they had no ties to Imran Khan or Khan’s party.
