"This product I'm releasing myself is priced excellently!"

Basically the equivalent of "we investigated ourselves and found no wrongdoing."

Half a year ago, I bought the 9 years younger (and much more complex) Red Dead Redemption 2 on Steam sale for $20.

Never call your product “great value” unless you’re talking about the cheap knock off brand at Walmart.

So when the rumours about this started, I thought Rockstar was going to use the engine from RDR2, improve it for current gen, use it to remake RDR1 and improve RDR2 to at least run at 60FPS... and instead we get another reheated cutlet made again by a third party? I think we're about to witness the GTA Trilogy remaster fiasco 2.0.

If you own an old 360, or an Xbox One, or even a Series S/X, grab a used copy of the Undead nightmare combo for like $20 on Amazon/eBay

It's backwards compatible from 360 to Series X.

Complete with 4K upscaling , working multiplayer and all the DLC

Do not give a single dollar to TakeTwo for this absolute nonsense

Corporate greed

I was actually interested and ready to spend more than I'd like to admit because I never played the first RDR. But 50 Dollar which would probably translate to 60. Euro in my region is just to much! Espacialy considering there are so so many great older games (I got Dragons Dogma for 12 € at a sale for example) for reasonable prices available everywhere.

So, I probably won't be playing this port in the foreseeable time.
