My friend had recently upgraded his 10400F/RTX2060 to a 11400F/RTX3060-Ti. Before selling the 2060, we decided to look at something and see how well it would work in my current system with an i7-2700K + my 16GB of DDR3 1600MHz RAM.

After putting it in and installing necessary drivers, we tested it. It worked completely fine. Very little bottleneck than what I expected, and doubled my frames compared to having my RX 580 in there.

I don't know if the 580 was previously being bottlenecked or if it's just a badly made part, but it ran COD Warzone at 60-70FPS on ultra settings, while paired with my RX580 it would've barely ran 30FPS on medium settings.

Am I being critically stupid and my i7-2700k can properly run something like a 2060, or is it just a miracle?
