I've been looking for good resources for multiclassing build guides and subclass tier lists and etc with a focus on BG3 mechanics. (I'm a veteran of D&D so thankfully a lot of that knowledge is transferrable). But I've been reading from sites like aestusguides and fextralife that also delve into the mechanics unique to BG3. Wondering if folks have found any other useful places.

For first run i will go completely blind. No guide, no help nothing. Like in good old days. Thats how i did with BG1-2 and Divinity original sin 1-2. Thats pure enjoyment for me.

As for places on builds and mehanics. Check WolfhearthFPS, ESO, Mortismal Gaming youtube channels.

Personal opinion here but, God I hate video guides.

No guides. Just blind here. Although I know DnD pretty well to make some good builds.

https://www.neoseeker.com/baldurs-gate-3/walkthrough normally neoseeker has some good builds for this kind of game.

Why would you ruin the voyage of discovery by using guides on a first play-through?

There is so much to discover in Larian games, the surprise of "oh you can do that?!" It's too awesome for spoilers.

I don't mean to look for walkthrough guides but just build optimization guides. When I play D&D I play for flavor and the RP focus and ignore optimization. When I play CRPGs I scratch the itch for build optimization and meta gaming.

First run I hate using guides.

After that though Wikis, like the pretty damn good BG3.wiki, are greate for designing builds and finding hidden items. Just be aware that they are in the process of updating right now.

Fextralife and it's ilk can burn as they are fucking awful. Their Pathfinder WotR guide is almost worthless as they don't update their wikis after their launch refresh.
