I support idea of Bookwyrm. But unfortunately using Bookwyrm is best described as a chore. Way too many issues, unable to load page, slow etc. But still, I will rather use Bookwyrm than Goodreads.

I say it's not worth it. Dont get me wrong, Nobara is my main OS on desktop but on steam deck I prefer SteamOS. It's more stable and reliable. You wont see any performance boost.

Same here, im doing evil run on honour (not dark urge) and so far I beheaded Karlach, killed Halsin and everyone in Emerald groove , Wyll and Gale left me. But hey, Minthara thinks im cool.

Never upload your passwords to any cloud. Always use good foss instead of proprietary software.

Use Aegis on android or 2FAS on iOS. And just backup your seed on hdd/usb stick. Dont upload on cloud.

I say you just got unlucky with your card. So i get why you are disappointed with AMD. What brand you had? Just keep in mind many had/have same problems with Nvidia gpus. I was one of them.

Hope new card will serve you better.

Buying new CPU (lemmy.world)
 

I have finally ditched Nvidia and I have nothing but praise for my AMD gpu. Now im in market for new CPU and I kinda want to do same with Intel, since I was on intel my whole life.

At the moment im looking at AMD Ryzen 9 7900 and i5 13600k (if i decide to go with intel) i5 is 70-80euros cheaper in my country.

Will there be any differance betwen those two on linux? What are your experiences with AMD cpus?

Im finally moving to AMD gpu. I have decided on RX 7900 XT and i need your help to choose which brand. Im debating between Asus Tuf and Sapphire Pulse. They are priced the same (8€ difference) but Asus is coming with 2y warranty while Sapphire with 3y. So far I only had experiences with Asus and I didnt have problems with their gpus, i had some minor problem with mbo (5+y ago) What are your experiences with Sapphire and which gpu would you recommend?

Just started Kiwami 2 (i.imgur.com)
 

I have just started playing Kiwami 2 after finishing Zero and Kiwami 1. So far i like it way more then K1. Got hooked up on story right away, battle is better and i love lvling system. On other note Yakuza games still amazes me how serious story is and how silly and funny substories are! I have just hit chapter 4 and cant wait to see how everything will develop.

Since there was already post about "what class" will you play. Choosing alignment is as important. So what alignment do you usually play and will chose for BG3?

I have replayed BG1 and 2 as chaotic neutral and Pathfinder kingmaker as chaotic good. This time I was thinking maybe lawful evil. Has anyone played early access with lawful evil? How did you feel about choices and consequences?

Going for one more run before Starfield. This time on Insanity difficulty. I have just beat Eden Prime and so far so good. How did your insanity run went?

Also, will Starfield fill your sci-fi itch or will we all return back to ME? From what i saw game looks very promising but since this is Bethesda we are talking about and it's year of broken AAA games I can't help to feel reserved. I don't believe we will get space opera like ME but im really hoping that SF wont disappoint.
