I understand most owners donate to conservatives because they're all billionaires, but the fact that the team itself is donating to anyone is kind of weird to me.

The DeVos family might be the dumbest to ever walk the Earth. They seem to want nothing more than to destroy public education and I have no idea how you even become dumb enough to want more dumbasses. I would think a terrible private school taught them public school is bad but I’ve known plenty of people who went to private and parochial schools and none of them, no matter how bad their education, thought universal K-12 education is somehow bad.
Betsy DeVos is so dumb, she was caught off-guard by everything bad Trump did despite being in the fucking cabinet meetings.
Claiming it's stupidity is dangerous and wrong. The DeVoss' goal is an American theocracy, which can only occur if public education is killed and replaced with Christian indoctrination.
If you believe what they actually say, sure. I think they care more about "opening up new markets for investment" i.e. the complete privatization of education in this country, an area in which they are heavily invested already. If public schools are dismantled the DeVosses will reap a tidy profit.
They do pride nights then give money to de santis...
That's how the grift works. Disney did it as well until stupid DeSantis came along.
Good statement from the NBPA here. It is hypocritical to support Pride Nights and donate to Ron DeSantis at the same time.

Everyone read up on the DeVos family. They're concentrated pure scum and evil. The family fortune is built on and supporting war crimes, private military, MLM, and school vouchers.
