Israel has acknowledged some military strikes on humanitarian workers, including an April attack that killed seven workers with the World Central Kitchen and has denied allegations of others.

So Israel doesn't want any aid to Gaza...

Have killed aid workers multiple times...

And now aid workers are being pulled because Israel keeps killing them.

Sounds like the UN is negotiating with a terrorist state.

Israel: "Oh, Thats a shame furiously launches more attacks against aid workers"

Maybe one of the member nations could do something to create that safety instead of throwing up their hands as Gaza starves. Or even just acknowledge that this is exactly what Israel wanted to achieve by killing aid workers.

No no you see this is antisemitic. Israel is the most moral country with the most moral army. Hamas is always targeting civillians, Israel is just killing them without targeting them. And if they did it were actually Hamas fighters, and if they werent it was their fault. And if it wasnt then it was a mistake and if it wasnt that either then a single soldier stepped out of line and got like two weeks of community service for it, so Israel remains the most moral entity in the world.

"If you don't stop committing a humanitarian crisis, we're going to stop sending humanitarian aid!"

...

What?

This is the situation Israel has been aiming for

These attacks have led UNRWA to declare that Gaza is currently the most dangerous place on Earth for aid workers, making it extremely difficult for groups to carry out the work necessary to stem the famine and various epidemics raging across Gaza — that is, when Israel even allows the materials needed for such efforts to cross the border.

Then send in armed forces to do it instead. Why can we send aid workers but not soldiers?

Because most of the military powers of the world are aligned with Israel and actively enabling and supporting this genocide.

It would all be over tomorrow if the US, UK, Germany and other fascist friends would stop sending any weapons, threaten sanctions and if necessary impose a no fly zone over Gaza. Instead Israel gets more F16s to be able to bomb even faster.

This announcement likely resulted in aid workers being raised on the list of priority targets

[–] [email protected] 7 points 4 months ago (1 children)

Yeah I'm sure that'll... help? Israel is the one dropping airstrikes on refugee camps, what makes anyone think they actually want any aid in Gaza at all?

[–] [email protected] 7 points 4 months ago

Yea my first thought when I saw the news was

"oh no, its exactly what we wanted" -Israel

[–] [email protected] 6 points 4 months ago (1 children)
