Android Intent Filter Verification Service

I've seen on TrackerControl this system app (on my grapheneOS) contacting Amazon (amazon.com) and Google (android.clients.google.com, m.youtube.com, play.google.com and www.youtube.com).

What does this app do? I've disabled internet access for the time being.

It seems to be how apps can link themselves to a URL. This service just verifies the link is good.

Here is a writeup on it: https://grapheneos.org/usage#app-link-verification

Thank you, it makes sense.

I've tried to install some apps from Aurora store (denying network permission) and then I saw these requests on TrackerControl, so maybe those apps wantend to be opened by default with these links.
