My phone stopped recording data from my watch. So I played around with the both of them and now it's working. I did technology and I'm very proud of myself because I didn't get angry or throw anything.

COVID finally got me. Here ends a good run.

Missed the interview due to migraine. They weren't happy. Fucking sucks as it's a 9 out of 10 for pain.

When I first moved in, I thought the housemate was a little stuck up and a bit out of touch, but when we started speaking more I realised that we've actually had quite similar lives and we get along really really well. He didn't grow up in the system, but he still got to "enjoy" a lot of the same things I did. Moving around a lot, changing schools more than yearly, etc etc. And knowing that he's managed to get through it actually helped a lot with some of my deep seated fears about the future.

These days we pretty much just talk shit about the system and people in the department, but it's always nice talking to him. It's a massive shame he's moving out so soon, but he's been here for longer than I was at the last place, so I can't fault him for wanting to move on. If I was in his shoes I would too. I hope the next LT/mentor they've lined up is as easy to talk to and get along with

So people are camped out at Melbourne Uni because they don't like their relationship with Lockheed Martin.

From what I've read the relationship amounts to a few million in research funding to Melbourne Uni for non military related purposes. i.e. powerline management and first responder technology.

Even if Melbourne Uni cut ties and rejected funding it would make 0 difference to the conflict.

So either there's something I don't know, or the protesters aren't very smart and/or mentally ill.

I really feel there needs to be an audit of all these folks with the kings awnings hanging off the roofracks, and ESPECIALLY the rooftop tent folks. How often are you camping where you NEED your tent with you at all times? I totally need some roofracks to get one myself!

I know this is an odd thing to complain about, but I don't like how Amazon doesn't charge instantly when I order stuff. It feels like the non credit version of a credit card. They don't seem to take their money until 12:30am on the day of delivery, and I really don't like that they do that. It feels like they're encouraging me to spend money I don't have/shouldn't spend. I don't have overdraft so I guess it's not that bad, but still. If they took their money instantly, I'd know okay, I have exactly $x left

Same with Mildura. That line is freight only as well. How many tourism dollars would a vline to Mildura rake in? I don't know why it's still closed to the public.
