I'm just happy to hear things have worked out so well for you and you're enjoying your work

Oatly thickened cooking cream. I haven't tried it yet but I like their chocolate oat milk

I have meatballs and some Oat thickened cooking cream. I'm going to have a crack at making Swedish meatballs so I can used both of them without eating pasta again so soon.

If these turn out alright we can have Ikea meatballs at home.

I had a great ride with the boys this afternoon. It's great to have nice weather and a bit of afternoon sun again.

We caught some of that light sun shower so we got to see ac rainbow on the way home

I feel that way too. I think we'll need to have more serious conversations about how things are done here

It looks alright outside now but it's meant to rain a bit this afternoon

I get paid fortnightly and August has worked out to be a 3 pay month. This is the off week though

I've taken today off to look after the boys. It will be nice to look after them properly instead of trying to watch them whilst tethered to a laptop

Definitely do something nice for yourself, but don't put to much pressure on you to make it perfect

This was mentioned in the book 'From secret ballot to democracy sausage'. Compulsory voting pulls politics towards the centre because you have to appeal to everyone.

Another outlier we have is preferential voting, whichgives smaller parties an opportunity to participate without eating into majorities.

And yeah, it strikes me as weird how they have those massive conventions over in the states, they're like Comicon for the worst and most boring people. And that people will say they don't like politics, then be ride or die for someone like Trump

It's not ideal and it's tough. I just wish everyone was trying their hardest to make it work here

This is definitely part of it. I feel like suburbs and urban development don't help either. People don't work where they live anymore so it's expected to live on one side of the city and work on the other side.

Suburbs used to be build around something like a factory or an industrial area. Now you live in one place, shop in another, and work somewhere else

You know how people make jokes about Thatcher and Regan's graves being gender neutral bathrooms?

Who do you think qualifies, or will qualify, for that title here in Australia?
