Fishflies #6 - Nearing the end of this 7 parter. A kid is shot, the shooter turns into a...thing..., the thing links up with an outcast little girl who identifies with the outcast criminal, somehow this all connects to previous cases and a darker secret in the town that I don't know yet.

Ice Cream Man #39 - This got delayed like 4mo, I've been waiting! Part 1 of 2, (neither part is "required"). They're always about sad things, this one is about car crashes.

Napalm Lullaby #3 - This one has been OK so far, if this issue doesn't drop something interesting enough to keep me around I maaaay drop it.

Redcoat #2 - Also unsure about this one, though I do like the whole "historical cult" thing.

Doom #1? - I mean tbh the only reason I want it is MF DOOM. I know this Doom isn't as good of a lyricist though, so we'll see.

Oh Briar #5 is out. It's been a year since #4 but I remember liking the first arc. I think the hype for it was kind of killed by the release schedule.

Doom #1 was pretty good but the plot was a little thin. I feel like it was carried insanely hard by the art.

X-Men: Forever #4 - A very important moment for a bunch of main characters that gets some real emotion out of me. Unfortunately it continues to struggle with the incredibly rushed feeling of the Fall of X.

I ended up not picking up Doom, I just never can get into marvel, idk why.

Honestly I'm the same way with Marvel. X-Men are the only ones I somewhat follow. I'm way more of an indie/sometimes DC person.

Only picked up Doom because it's a oneshot and it's written by Hickman.

A place to discuss comic books of all types, from old to new, Big 2 to indie, and everything in between.

Floppies, graphic novels, compilations, omnibusses (omnibusi?) are all fair game.

There is only one rule:*

Comic Books is a no judgement zone.

You can talk all you want about how Rob Liefeld is trash, Bob Kane is an asshole, or Frank Miller and Dave Sim’s politics have made them toxic, that’s all good.

If, however, another user is LEGITIMATELY a fan of something you don’t like, that does NOT make them a lesser person. Attack the art for being bad, not the person for being a fan of bad art.

* I lied. There are TWO rules... No piracy. Cover shots? That's good. Interior pages, in moderation? Sure. Full books? Links to pirate sites? That's how we get things shut down. :(

I'm not saying it's been a problem, because it hasn't been.
