"This is a place to motivate each other to control or stop drinking. We welcome anyone who wishes to join in by asking for advice, sharing our experiences and stories, or just encouraging someone who is trying to quit or cut down. What's there isn't very helpful.
Now the creator has gone inactive and hasn't been around for for 4 days.
Question from someone who might want to start a couple of magazines/communities: Is being away for four days long enough to be considered inactive?
No, it shouldn't be, many people have commitments and as long as there is a mod active then the community is being covered.
This is the second post I've seen on the matter today and it's disappointing that we are already seeing people trying to assure they are the King of their little domain.
I was tired of these politics in Reddit and I'm not eager to continue seeing it here.

Idk, was it necessary to make your name a reference to reddit? My fuckin' name is assbutt, dude, the bar isn't very high here. It's pretty weird to call yourself 'snoo' while you go around decrying the evils of reddit.

Come on, are you fuckin' serious right now? If you create 'SnooFuckersAnonymous' then abandon it next week, what the hell are the admins supposed to do with it? According to you, they have to leave it there, empty and unused, forever, instead of letting someone make something out of it. That is asinine beyond words.
For someone who loves reddit enough to adopt the name of their mascot, you sure don't seem to understand how it worked. You're acting as if subreddit requests were exclusively hostile takeovers. Part of requesting a sub was proving that you had made every attempt to contact the existing mods.
Transferring ownership to new mods is basic maintenance in a place like this. Nobody is suggesting we steal communities from their owners and hand them out to trolls.
Sending an email to [email protected] creates a ticket. Ruud got back to me slightly after 24 hours.
I've been sober since January 2nd and the creator asked for mods because he made it when he wasn't sober and I messaged him I'd be a mod but he never replied. I was active on the subreddit
I sent a message to the mod because spacebar shows up as a bot on my browser. I think we need Ruudβs help.
