Representative democracy is better. My reps should have more time to research every topic than I do. Their job is to be more informed.

My job is to spot check on the stuff I understand.

Their votes should be worth more than mine. And we should have a system where sometimes representatives vote against their constituents wishes because the rep has more information available to them, or is just more educated than their constituents on the topic.

They clearly understand and disagree. The part where you said land votes is an oversimplification was the last good comment in your chain.

The alternative is reading the headline and skipping the article.

Seems like a reasonable safety feature. There are often signs with an AM radio station listed for broadcasts. And it requires less tech (and fewer issues) than cell service.

You can get a RaspPi instead, and after a year or two you'll have saved enough electricity to have paid for itself.

But most importantly, they need to stop taking away guns. We need good guys with guns to stop bad guys with guns. If you make the guns illegal at his rallies, then, by definition, only criminals at his rallies have guns.

It certainly isn't when you're spending more than that just to get exclusives.
