Shanahan, a millennial patent attorney and California mega donor

Hmm...

Kennedy chose the 38-year-old tech attorney, he said, for her experience in emerging technologies like AI and has spoken positively about her track record on the environment and inquisitive mind. She boasts a compelling personal story, having grown up on welfare, with a hard-scrabble upbringing that runs counter to his elite family. She was also, presumably, chosen to round out his ticket in the gender and age departments.

Shanahan, the source said, is someone who has had “the whole deck stacked against her” and has ascended to become “a living embodiment of this American dream that is evaporating for so many people.”

“I think it’s going to resonate with a large swath of the electorate,” the source said.

Why would I care that she is a Millennial who "made it"? She's a patent attorney. How is she going to help me and people like me at all? She likes "AI", the "environment", and has an "inquisitive mind"?

Millennials are not that stupid. I don't think they care if someone "like them" is elected, unless that person has good ideas. It's like when Republicans run one of the few brown skinned people they have. Most non-white people have been lied to for decades. They're not going to be tricked that easily.

Fucking Condoleeza Rice and Colin Powell were two of the most qualified black Republicans and they couldn't move the needle for them.

Also, she "made it" by marrying a Google co-founder, not because her own business was remarkable.

Someone of so little notoriety, they didn't even make it in to the headline.

He was never expected to win or even be a contender. All he is a stooge for republicans in case it's a close race between Biden and Trump and his major financial backers are betting that he will pull enough votes away from Biden to give Trump a victory in swing states.

RFK Jr is a lot like the orange grifter/adulterer.

Oh thank God, he couldn't wrangle Jesse Ventura.

Now I can vote for Jesse in 2028

At least Jesse has previous political experience.

And supports unions and universal healthcare!

As long as his advisors can stop him from talking about the reptile infiltration he's the perfect candidate as far as I'm concerned.

[–] Grilipper54 2 points 7 months ago (2 children)

Doesn't RFK Jr support both these as well?

[–] [email protected] 3 points 7 months ago* (last edited 7 months ago)

Nope. Man's a "centrist."

Besides, can RFK Jr pile drive Ventura into a coma?

Well, now we know who's the superior candidate, don't we?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 7 months ago

But does he support the reptile infiltration?

She "made it" by marrying a billionaire co-founder of Google. Then cheated on him with Elon Musk. Her husband then divorced her because of it and...

Shanahan and Brin had signed a prenuptial agreement. During the divorce proceedings, Shanahan's attorneys argued that she had signed the prenuptial agreement under duress, and in mediation sought more than $1 billion of Brin's $95 billion fortune. The divorce was finalized in 2023 in a confidential arbitration. Forbes reported that Shanahan likely received around 2.6 million Alphabet Class B shares from Brin, worth $390 million in March 2024, and possibly received an additional, equal amount of Class C shares.

Yeah, she really represents the American Dream.

He looks like he's 30 seconds away from chewing through someone's femoral artery at all times.
