Phoenix can offer a trade package of Deandre Ayton and Landry Shamet to Washington for Bradley Beal, but it’s believed a Chris Paul, Shamet deal is what it would take if Beal chose to force his way to the Suns via his no-trade clause, league sources tell @NBAonTNT

I just don't see how this gets phoenix any closer to a championship. They'll still have no depth

This trade makes no sense for either team.

Even if Beal KD and Booker combine for 90 every game, this team isn't championship quality without more depth... losing Paul's playmaking and a rotation player for another scorer seems like a bad move

Why is Phoenix wanting to get rid of Ayton in every trade?

He hates it there

He's overpaid and passive occasionally.

I don't understand why the Washington Wizards would accept either of these trades . They just don't make sense. Like what are the Wizards gonna do with Ayton and Kristaps. And in what world are they going to accept an ageing player who is well past being able to play like a superstar and a decent bench player for a star who is in his prime. It just doesn't make sense in my opinion.

I have no idea what Washington is doing in general, maybe they don’t either

I've heard rumors of them also trying to move Kristaps and go into a true tank. They're never going to be good enough with this core, so while they should have done this two years ago (and before a no trade clause was given) it's probably the right direction for them
