If you sail the high seas for your anime, you might have noticed several shows available for viewing already that haven't actually aired yet, including the first two episodes of Konosuba. The shows have been coming out over the past week or so, but I hadn't seen any actual news articles written up to share until now.

This is a great way to have the ramped up anti piracy coalition crusade start cracking down on http sites.

Remember the countless sites that got taken offline because they hosted Game of Thrones leaks early?

This will just draw more attention and give them ammunition to shut more sites down

Reminds me of the JJK manga leaks where leakers report each other lol.

The Blue Lock characters should take notes on those folks' egoism.

I also expect that it might be harder for Crunchyroll to get these companies to trust them with preview episodes in the future.

I'm not sure what difference watermarks would make.

Everyone pretty much believes the episodes were leaked from CR's preview shows at Sakura-Con in Seattle.
