Awful crash, hope everyone will be fit to ride a bike again.

Broken collarbone and ribs for Vingegaard. Guess the tour will be an easy win for Pogi

At least not his femur again... That might have been game over for his career

Well, I don't know about that. The tour is still some way off, others have come back from something like this and won.

Fingers crossed for yet another great showdown between Pogacar and Vingegaard

Sure, and it's 3 months away - a collarbone and some cracked ribs will keep him out for some weeks, but he'll have time to get back into shape, if not raceform. It looked really bad, but the damage seems to be better than I feared.

He's a firm favourite for sure but anything can happen. If roglic can keep rubber side down maybe he still gives him a run for his money? I think the biggest thing scaring me (after pog's prodigious talent) is how strong UAE look as a team.

With the concrete gutter and boulders on the side of the road, you'd think they would put in extra safety measures on that turn. It looks like such an obviously dangerous section, but i have the benefit of hindsight and sitting on my couch

If they dont already do this, they should have an ex-pro rider scout the course and recommend measures based on experience in race situations.
