I had no context for this. I'm just on vacation flipping through the TV, this music video by some band unbeknownst to me comes on and I'm going WTF in the best way🔥

Best British band of the last 20 years IMO.

Brilliant live shows too.

Yeah I'm listening to Brutalism right now. Great energy, love the angry attitude. Was just reading they toured for 8 years before releasing the debut album. Definitely put in their time!

I’m going to see them next month and haven’t been this hyped about an event in a long time. Maybe I’m becoming an old man but bands that give me this kind of energy just seem fewer and farther between.

Also they grew on me over a long time. I remember listening to Joy as an Act of Resistance not long after it came out, thinking it was good but nothing special. Now it’s one of my favorite albums in recent years, though I also love seeing how they’re evolving and expanding into other genres now.

Never heard of these guys before and I'm blown away. Ok. I'm off to explore their discography. What a fucking banger.

Same here. I'm so out of touch with new music but was pleased to learn there's a modern punk rock band out there that's actually popular. Hope there's a real revival of punk rock soon. The anger and discontent is there. The climate is ripe for it.
