Grinding Gears just released a new teaser trailer for PoE 2. PoE 2 will feature a new 7-act storyline and has updated graphics and mechanics. Really excited about this!

If anyone is looking for a solid alternative to D4 right now, I can recommend Lost Epoch. Having a lot of fun playing it currently.

Seconded. It's a nice middle ground between Diablo and PoE in terms of complexity. That said, I can't wait for Exilecon.

I learned about this a while back, I should definitely check it out.

I’ve given up on blizzard 100%

Had Diablo 4 had issue? I’m guessing there is a bunch of monetization in the game.

To be honest I’m a bit tempted, but I think I’ll at least wait a year. I’m assuming they have something like the auction house that will get removed.

The trailer looks like a completely new game so I was suprised. And then they go into a gameplay trailer, and I went "oh there is the game that I know". Still excited to see what PoE2 brings.

I’ve tried this game before and it was too complex to figure out. I think I made it to what would be considered the first boss fight.

Yes, it's a very complex game to learn. The skill gems took a while to get used to. https://www.poe-vault.com/guides/beginner-leveling-guide-for-path-of-exile was a good start for me. I recommend just jumping into a character class that looks fun and playing for a bit without worrying about your build. This explains the classes pretty well: https://pathofexile.fandom.com/wiki/Character_class

After getting used to the mechanics, I just followed a build guide and that helped a lot.

I think it’s just not the game for me. I don’t mind games for maxing stuff out or the occasional puzzle, but I don’t want to need to read a character build guide to complete a game.
