Chuck "Both Sides" Todd thinks NBC went too far.

During the interview, McDaniel indicated that she disagreed with Trump’s pledge to pardon rioters who stormed the Capitol on January 6th. She also said that she believes that Joe Biden was elected president “fair and square.” But Welker pressed McDaniel on her past refusal to say that Biden was legitimately elected, running a clip from an interview she gave to Chris Wallace on CNN in July.

“I don’t think he won it fair,” McDaniel said in that interview.

Well that clears that up.

Her qualifications are being born into a wealthy political family and getting a BA in English from a religious school associated with the teachings of snake oil salesmen who hardcoded institutionalized racism and sexism into their religion. Not a specific or even a general study of political theory or history, constitutional law (or any other type), or journalism. Then working for a lobbyist media company, followed by nepotism and then shilling for Trump.

She's not yet contributed anything for the good of humanity. What is something they think she will "contribute?"

What is something they think she will "contribute?"

An air of legitimacy for Republicans to try to expand their viewership?

Do you mean that woman that wasn't giving all of the RNC money to Trump? That traitor to the cause of everything they hold dear?

[–] [email protected] 3 points 5 months ago

Them and CNN are really taking the heel turn seriously.

NBC, CNN, MSNBC are not left winged. They are anti-MAGA. These monopoly media companies embrace Nicole Wallace, Michael Steele, Liz Cheney. They love when Mit Romney and George W Bush speak out against MAGA/Trump. Leftists may argue for media integrity, regulations, anti monopoly practices which are antithetical to the company's success/profits.

They are neoliberal news sites. By normal definitions of the word, they are right-wing organizations.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 5 months ago (1 children)

I think CNN has taken a step even further than that these days.

CNN has formally switched to being right-wing.

It amazes me every time I see Carl Rove on left-wing media

[–] [email protected] 2 points 5 months ago (1 children)

Karl "turd blossom" Rove, a.k.a. Ham Rove

Crazy times then as well, Cheney will be happy to hear Harry Whittington died last year...COMEUPPANCE!! (He's the dude that peppered his face with bird-shot 😂)

Is it really that surprising? They have Michael Steele as a regular guest for having held literally the exact same position

To my understanding, Michael Steele isn't part of the MAGA movement nor has he spoken out in favor of the big lie. The difference between him and Ronna McDaniel is monumental. They're not nearly the same because they both were RNC chairpersons.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 5 months ago (1 children)

IMO everyone in the RNC is guilty of laying the grounds for what it is now.

They deserve no pity for their misfortune of failing to become part of the in group of the cult of personality.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 5 months ago

Absolutely. Republicans spent the last century sewing discord. And now surprised as they reap the whirlwind. No sympathy for them. They're simply upset that someone turned their own weapon against them and took it away from them. They all gleefully lied and misrepresented. In order to get what they wanted. But now that they aren't getting even that they expect us to feel sorry for them.

Same cult, different wave.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 5 months ago

Have you ever watched MSNBC? Michael Steele is super far from a MAGA cultists. He openly attacks Trump. Not exactly apples to apples.

[–] mindbleach 1 points 5 months ago

Jesus fuck, when Chuck Todd calls you for implicit right-wing bias...
