So, I've been using FitNotes for a while as it's the only app that I found that doesn't have a nightmare privacy policy. However, the app is rarely updated and there are things I wish it had that I would love to add if it was FOSS. Wondering if there is anything foss alternatives?

FitoTrack

https://codeberg.org/jannis/FitoTrack

FitoTrack is a mobile app for logging and viewing your workouts. Whether you're running, cycling or hiking, FitoTrack will show you the most important information, with detailed charts and statistics. It is open-source and completely ad-free.

Amazing for outdoor activities, but it's not a gym workout tracker for training plans, reps, etc.

Thanks for the suggestion! FitoTrack looks great, but I don't really do outdoor activities. I mostly do weight training so I'm looking for something that tracks reps/weight etc.

I've been using Liftosaur for more than an year now and it is perfect.

The app has many programs you can find on fitness forums and subreddits. But the developer is open to port more to the app if requested. You can build your own program with an easy interface or use a scripting language develop for the app to have total control

This is the nerdiest way to lift weights. I'm gonna be so obsessed with it, I can already tell.

I love FOSS and hate myself for doing this but personally I gave up on the idea of forcing myself to using a worse FOSS app over one that just get's "shit done".

Convenience in the gym is the most important imo.

Hevy is a great app even without paying. Take that for what you will.
