Today's the 83rd continuous day of the ethnic & communal cleansing of Kukis (mostly Christians) by Meiteis (mostly Hindus) in Manipur, India.

India's Hindu supremacist Prime Minister (awarded the Grand Croix de Legion de l'honneur by France' President Macron 10 days back), Home Minister, & the Chief Minister of Manipur are content to let it continue.

you literally cant make this stuff up

Manipur's & India's reality is worse than the worst nightmare we can conjure.

So you’ve conveniently given a religious angle to this mess?

There’s absolutely no other reason to it?

I'm not the one killing Kukis and Meitei Christians and burning churches in Manipur. Ask the Meitei why they are doing so.

Ask them where they hawked their humanity to become the beasts who burn people alive, who torture and rape girls & women, who strip naked and parade women, who gangrape women, who behead men and display the severed heads, who set fire to homes and schools and churches, who lynch and beat people to death, who shoot people dead.

And when you're asking them, tell them that they have shamed Manipur, India, and the name of Meitei in front of the world, in the eyes of all humanity, for the rest of time. Tell them animals are better than them. Tell them not just India, the whole world wants to know what the fuck is wrong with them.

I’m making a comment on your perspective, which is biased based on religion.

The issue has more complication to it and you water it down religious conflict, you are no better than the Jay Shree Ram gang in that regard.

Quite shameful.

From all the information available to me, it's an ethnic & communal genocide. if you have any info that contradicts or adds a different understanding, then come out with it instead of passing personal judgement.

An ethnic and communal conflict is VERY different than a religious conflict.

I’ve a problem with you specifically mentioning two religions as it portrays a very different picture.

And I will pass personal judgement as you are not putting any effort to counter your bias.

Feel free to add to the conversation whenever you feel like it, by citing sources or articles in support or against a point.

What you're doing now is just slinging garbage just so you can be perceived as "unreasonable and contemptuos" instead of "rude and churlish".

[–] [email protected] -2 points 1 year ago

What sources did OP add to suggest it is a religious conflict?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

If you have any of my comment, you'll notice I have mae very clear that the violence is ethnic & communal. if you read into it, something that I have not written, then don't blame me. Maybe correct your reading comprehension and your bias causing it is?

Since you have neither added any info to help understand your pov nor info to contradict my understanding, what I say stands. You are obviously a troll come here to waste my time. So I'll leave this comment here and block you in the next 5 mins.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 year ago

That is what OP is doing.

A horrible denial of human rights and violation of the base kind seen in recent history, in India, one of the most religiously extremist and least educated places on the planet, covered widely by media, with reasons and timelines carefully analysed:

Unwashed asshole on internet: HMM YOU'RE MANUFACTURING A CONVENIENT RELIGIOUS ANGLE TO THIS

He's a troll, come here to distract us so we can waste our time & energy on fighting him. It's a known tactic by the BJP's troll army.
I've blocked him.

ps: It would help a lot if you replied/ responded as a new comment as blocking the troll blocks this comment thread. Thanks.
