Oh you know it. Private equity is a cancer on society.

The sale isn't going to close until sometime later this year so I may actually pull a couple hundred bucks out of savings to grab some sine bars, internal diameter gauges, center finders, etc. Bunch of various odds and ends that I haven't really needed enough to bother buying but really should have around in the future. If I'm gonna get it, it might as well be Starrett.

I audited a couple of boxes of their high dollar calibrated tape measures a couple years ago. I found one that was accurate to our checking block. They have been selling trash at a premium for a minute.
