Tbh I think she'd been dead for awhile, she got COVID and then we didn't really get another public appearance
Really old person's health takes a turn for the worse because of a serious illness and can't show herself in a dignified manner publicly anymore. She must be dead!
Nah, that's just what happens when you take a turn into the final lane of your life.
She probably has been sick and unable to get out of bed for quite a while. Remember: many people can't even talk anymore at the time of their death.
True, but in her case, if she had died early, she would have been just shy of being the longest ruling person in England, so I feel like she got that title, then they waited awhile and announced her death.
