Is he ranking anime that aren't even finished airing yet? That kinda calls into question his entire tier list, doesn't it?
Anime
Anime is hand-drawn and computer animation originating from Japan.
Anime; the one thing that gets us closer to each other and brings us together.
All spoilers must be tagged!
Helck has an anime now? That manga was underrated af
I was waiting for new Bleach for ages and now that is out i kinda lost all interest. I have even rewatched all ep before new season. Is it really that good?
Also, thanks for the list, will check your bangers. Im looking for new shows to watch.
Yea, I guess I've outgrown Bleach or something - I sort of like the first part of TYBW, but the second part I just haven't made time to watch. I'm actually more interested in the Vending Machine one lol.
Just a fair warning. The new anime is a continuation of the manga, not the anime. The original Bleach anime changed and added a lot, so it might be pretty confusing in some areas if you've never read the manga.
I don't know about a summer season, but the one that started earlier this year is shit. I strongly disliked it.
If there's a new summer season I assume it's a continuation of that.
It was nice to get an overview of all the airing anime.
I can confirm that Jujutsu Kaisen and Mushoku Tensei are bangers.
I just watched the first 3 episodes of Reign of the Seven Spellblades because he was enthusiastic about it, but I didn't find it particularly good. I'd definitely place it lower than Bungo Stray Dogs. I'll continue watching it for now.
I want to give Undead Murder Farce a watch, but I have a feeling it'll be better to binge it once the season has finished.
I wasn't even aware of Zom 100 or Link Click, some more to watch in the future.
I haven't watched Dark Gathering. I'm skeptical, but I'm willing to give it try.
I can confirm My Unique Skill Makes Me OP Even At Level 1 is trash and mildly enjoyable. Level 1 Demon Lord and One Room Hero sounds like it's worth trying out.
As for The Duke of Death and His Maid, I didn't find the first season interesting enough for me to watch the second. I didn't even think the CGI looked that bad, I just never felt particularly interested in the contents. The OP song for season 1 was great, though.
Masamune-kun’s Revenge R is a show I thought I'd watch, but then I saw that I had actually rated the first season a score of 6 on MyAnimeList (which is a barely-not-dropped score for me). So, I decided to hold off. I'll watch it if it has favorable reviews when it finishes.
Ya I couldn't even make it thru the first episode of seven spell blades, it was so earnestly cringe and unselfaware about how generic it was. And the pacing and script, just bad.
I, too, gave Spellblades 1.5 episodes , and will watch it... only if there's nothing else new to watch. There's always something new to watch.
Murder Farce has been great so far. Animation, pacing, story are on point, but the snark is why you stay.
Same story about Zom 100 and Link Click. Didn't even know about Link Click season 1. That alone will probably keep me from watching Spellblades.
The only trash I'll order off the menu is Tiny Sempai. I'm a sucker for office SoL. That's also why I'm ranking Masterful Cat higher in my books.
Binged all of Ooku: the Inner Chambers. You likely want to have a deep interest in Edo-era culture and palace politics to appreciate the gender swap thesis. I was left just a tiny bit cold in how episode 1 set up a great historical question, which the series answered well, but it never returned at the end to say, "wow, this is why things are they way they are", which made me wonder if there'd be a second season. Since it's Netflix, prolly not.
I watched the first episode of Sugar Apple Fairy Tale, and then kind of had a blog post that trashed it for whitewashing slavery took my enjoyment out of it. But now the second season is also highly rated - I wonder if I should go back and watch it?
The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen - the top MAL comment kind of strikes me as likely: "This anime is a cheap copy of My Next Life as a Villainess." If you're watching this, what makes this worth watching if I've already seen that?
Also, is MAL just overly negative in their ratings?
Last Boss Queen is basically Life as a Villainess as a drama with a clued-in protagonist (and without the school setting, so far). In short, if you don't enjoy the premise for its own sake, it probably isn't worth watching for you.
I watched all of cour 1 for Sugar Apple Fairy Tale and, considering how Ann returned Challe's wing to him in ep 4 (taking and retaining a fairy's wing gives you command power over said fairy i.e. slavery), any plausible theme of elevation due to involuntary servitude was removed and it continued on as a cute talented female protag artisan trying to make her way in the world, with too many pretty boys.
I'm curious why Spy Classroom seems to be so unpopular. The character writing alone immediately puts it above everything not in the banger tier for me (and above seven spellblades which is super generic so far).
I get that the chronology is a bit confusing but is that really all people are hung up on?
