Ah, NOW they want to boycott the game?

I read an interesting analogy about it. basically it's like ordering a steak from a restaurant, but then the cook comes out and takes the plate back. he takes it to the kitchen and brings it back to you tougher to chew. when asked why it is more chewy, the cook says it's so that you can gnaw on it longer. those in early game don't notice so much because they haven't made it to the 'meat' of the game yet. I plan to revisit it after BG3 and some QoL improvements.

What's stopping a modder from releasing a balance patch to fix the community concerns? Or is Blizzard's "always online on a single player game" effective in thwarting any attempt?

that's a great question! sadly, I don't know. 😮‍💨

I'll believe it when I see it (or read a post on here talking about how it's actually working)

Never heard of CharlieIntel before and after skimming through this "article" and seeing it is unironically sourcing reddit threads, I simply cannot. Sincerely hope whomever runs this shitty website finds another hobby cuz this ain't it.

I miss late 90s Blizzard.
It has never been the same.

The only thing that stays the same is that everything changes.

Enjoy what you have while it lasts. Nothing is permanent. And when it’s gone, don’t waste too much time grieving for its loss; be thankful for the time you did have it, and find something new that brings you happiness again.
